At Massage Siam and spa, your safety and wellness is always our highest mission.
We strive to continue our commitment to enhanced safety and reopening protocols. In
accordance with Governor Baker Executive Orders and CDC guidelines, the following are
our safety standards.
Social Distancing:
: Guests are required to wear a mask at all times, including during the session. If
you don’t have one, we will provide one for you.
: All of our staffs are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
: We will ask that you come unaccompanied to your appointments.
: We will keep at least 6ft apart between guests. Couples massage tables are always at least
6ft in our couples massage room.
: We will ensure that all appointment will be in staggered time as well as staff arrival and
departure.
: Limiting the number of clients per time slot.
: We are allowing 30 minutes in between each client for cleaning and disinfecting of
session rooms.
Hygiene Protocols:
: Hand soap and sanitizer are available throughout the spa.
: We will ask you to sanitize hands upon arrival and before leaving the treatment room.
: All staffs have received training on hygiene protocols and how to provide safe services.
: All staffs are required to sanitize their hands before and after each service.
Staffing and Operation:
: All staff will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 before each shift. Staffs
who are displaying any COVID19-like symptoms are prohibited to come to work.
: We will conduct a temperature check. If you have a high fever (more than 100.4F),
please understand that we have right not to offer you a service for everyone safety.
: Guests with any symptoms (cough, fever, and shortness of breath) shall be rescheduled
until the symptom resolved without any medication for at least 72 hours, or at least 14
days after contact with a person with cough, fever, or diagnosed COVID-19.
Cleaning and Disinfecting:
: We will use EPA-certified disinfectants as listed in COVID-19 Disinfectant List.
: We will disinfect high-touch surfaces between clients (door handles, counters, tabletops,
sink, faucet and light switches).
: We will disinfect tools used between clients (face cradles, massage table/ Thai massage
mat, stool, bolster and massage oil/lotion bottles).
: We will conduct frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all common surfaces in the lobby
and restroom every hour.
: We will disinfect retail items between guests.
Action Plan for Positive COVID-19 Test:
If our guest is infected with COVID-19, we will do the following:
: We will comply with contact tracing efforts, working with the Boston Public
Health Commission and other entities as needed and as fast as we possibly could.
: The massage therapist(s) who worked with the guest gets tested for the virus (if possible)
and must go into self-quarantine for 14 days following close contact with that guest.
: All other guests of that massage therapist who have had close contact with them in the
meantime must be notified that they may have been exposed.
If our massage therapist is infected with COVID-19, we will do the following:
: We will comply with contact tracing efforts, working with the Boston Public
Health Commission and other entities as needed and as fast as we possibly could.
: All of the massage therapist’s guests from the two weeks leading up to the positive test
must be informed that they have been exposed.
: We will thoroughly disinfect the room(s) and all the tools that the massage therapist used.
: The massage therapist must go into self-quarantine until they test negative and all
symptoms have resolved.
: Any other staff at the spa who had close contact with the massage therapist must go into
self-quarantine for 14 days after their exposure. This might be shortened if accurate testing
determines that they are not infected.
